There are many people that go through various forms of back pain . Usually, most back pain can be taken care of within a few weeks. Still, back pain can be very uncomfortable, and with persistant back pain you should see a chiropractor, physician or physical therapist. Muscle tension in your back and neck can most often be the cause of back pain. These tight muscles can twist your spine and cause pain.Relaxing those muscles can usually relieve that pain. A device I use daily to relax the muscles in my back is the Chi Machine. Using proper back exercises can help greatly.
Below are seven well-known types of back pain:
Ruptured Disc
A ruptured intervertebral disc, or a herniated disc, is a well-known type of back pain. There are different ways to treat this particular type of back pain based on the person involved and the situation .
Lumbar Muscle Strain
Being the most common form of back pain, Muscle strains are the most complained about. Many people don’t even recall how they got the strain. This is something that happens often, as is triggering a muscle spasm. Fortunately, this kind of strain can be resolved in a few weeks.
Spinal Stenosis
Spinal Stenosis is generally seen in the aging population. When we age, our spinal cord can become constricted. Sometimes this is because of arthritis, or other conditions. A tight spinal cord can cause back pain.
Disogenic Back Pain
This is also a familiar type of lower back pain. A damaged intervertabral disc can be the cause of this condition, but not with disc herniation. This is diagnosed from a discgram.
Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis causes the vertebra to destabilize losing support, and causing slippage of the vertebra, causing pain in the back. Changes due to degeneration can cause a great reduction in stabilization in the spinal column creating Spondylolisthesis. When the spine get’s unstable to a certain point, it causes back pain.
Lumbar Spine Arthritis
Although we hear of arthritis commonly in the fingers and knees, it can affect any part of the body, as well as the small joints on the spine. When arthritis settles into the spine, it can cause back pain.
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is the cause of weak bones, it can cause discomfort and multiple orthopedic problems. the results being compression fractures of the vertebra.
It can help to do some simple exercises to strengthen your back. Good posture can be difficult, but it is very helpful as well. When lifting, using proper weight-handling techniques can save you a great deal of future problems with your back. There are also certain devices that help with spinal alignment, including massage chairs that help to straighten and relax vertebrae. The Original Chi Machine helps to relieve back pain, but, also detoxing and relieving stress on your body, This takes as little as 5 to 20 minutes a day, this also relaxes you at the same time. Making sure your spine is in proper alignment will help with having the least amount of muscle pain and strain.
